DANIEL DAVIS. CMT
Daniel has been profoundly inspired by the mysterious workings of the
body/mind for most of his life. His somatic fascination has led him
down avenues of investigation such as yoga, meditation, Authentic
Movement, Body-Mind-Centering, and, of course, to massage. As a body
worker he combines deep structural work with the subtler techniques of
myo-fascial release and Cranio-Sacral work. His work is guided
simultaneously by sensitive intuition and an embodied understanding of
anatomy. This understanding is informed by over a decade as a teacher
of Contact Improvisation dance in the US, Finland, Germany, Estonia and
more. More recently Daniel has been studying functional efficiency and
injury prevention through Frey Faust's Axis Syllabus: Universal Motor
Principles. He is dedicated to bringing people into an alive sense of
"home" in their own skin that allows healing to take place on all
levels of one's experience.
