EMILY BROWN, CMT, PTA
Emily grew up loving ballet and dance. From a young age her
concerns with keeping her body active and healthy, eventually led to
her work as a Physical Therapy Assistant, Pilates trainer, and Body
Worker. Now in her 9th year, Emily incorporates postural alignment,
sports massage, deep tissue, soft tissue strain/counter-strain (a
gentle neuro-muscular unwinding technique), myofascial release, and
trigger point release among other things. Emily believes in the power
of touch to aid in a person’s physical, and emotional well being.
For clients in acute or chronic pain of any fitness level, the aim of
Emily’s work is to improve postural alignment, muscle balance and body
awareness providing pain free living.
